AAABA Tournament sites are set

July 27, 2023

The 78th AAABA Tournament will begin on Monday, July 31 at Sargent’s Stadium at the Point and fields located throughout the Greater Johnstown region.
* Sargent’s Stadium will host an afternoon game featuring the Johnstown-2 Martella’s Pharmacy squad through the first three days of pool play.
* The official opener of the AAABA Tournament will be held at Sargent’s Stadium at 7:30 p.m. on Monday as Johnstown’s Mainline Pharmacy will host the night games after winning the JCBL playoff crown.
* Roxbury Park’s recently dedicated Dee Dee Osborne Field will host games in the city.
* Nearby Westmont Hilltop High School also will be the site of games during the first three days of the tournament. Teams and fans are advised of a PennDOT road improvement project on an adjacent road and are encouraged to allow extra time to get to the field.
* Forest Hills High School in the Sidman/St. Michael area recently was renovated and has an artificial playing surface. AAABA Tournament games will be played there for the first three days.
* Mount Aloysius College in Cresson also will host games on the Mounties’ artificial playing surface during the first three days of pool play.
Two other traditional sites with plenty of history and community support will host games on Monday through Wednesday.
* Portage’s Pete Haschak Memorial Field is the home of the Portage High School program.
* Lilly-Washington War Memorial Field is a well-known AAABA Tournament destination.
Directions to the fields may be found on our website under the Locations tab.
