Former Pittsburgh Pirates Gold Glove Award-winning catcher Mike LaValliere will be the featured speaker during the AAABA Hall of Fame banquet on July 30 at the Pasquerilla Conference Center.
LaValliere was part of the Pirates’ three consecutive appearances in the National League Championship Series from 1990 to 1992. He played for Pittsburgh from 1987 to 1993 and overall spent 12 seasons in Major League Baseball.
