Johnstown's Maurice Berry played in four AAABA Tournaments from 1990 to 1993 with Pepsi-Cola, Knickerbockers and as a pick-up with Coca-Cola. Berry is in the AAABA Hall of Fame Class of 2018.
Brooklyn's Julio Lugo was MVP of the 1994 AAABA Tournament won by his Youth Service League team. He went on to a 12-year career in the majors, including a 2007 World Series championship with the Red Sox.
Brooklyn's Ruddy Lugo pitched as a 16-year-old in the 1996 AAABA Tournament. After a lengthy career in the minors, Ruddy played two major league seasons.
