Johnstown Mainline Pharmacy defeated Maryland State Crabfest 10-4 in front of 1,607 fans at Sargent’s Stadium on Wednesday night to complete Pool D play with a 3-0 record and advance to the elimination bracket.
Columbus TNT Knights (1-2) won tiebreakers over Buffalo (1-2) and Maryland State (1-2) to take the second seed out of Pool D.
Mainline Pharmacy will face the Creekside Crocodiles (2-1) at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Sargent’s Stadium. Youngstown was the runner-up in Pool C.
Columbus will face Pool C winner Altoona Cumming Motors at noon Thursday at Westmont Hilltop High School.
Three-time defending AAABA Tournament champion New Orleans Boosters (3-0) swept through Pool B and will play Pool A runner-up New Brunswick Matrix (2-1) at noon Thursday at Forest Hills High School.
Pool A winner Brooklyn-2 Cougars will face Pool B runner-up Johnstown-2 Martella’s Pharmacy at noon at Sargent’s Stadium.
The winners will advance to Friday’s semifinal round.
