University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown President Dr. Jem Spectar joined City of Johnstown Mayor Frank Janakovic on the pitcher’s mound at Point Stadium on Wednesday night.
Dr. Spectar presented the major with an oversized check for $2,500 that will be used to purchase a new portable pitcher’s mound.
