Bill Felix, better known as Johnstown’s Candy Man, died on May 31 at age 81.
The Candy Man was a huge believer in and supporter of the AAABA Tournament. His store, located for more than three decades on Market Street across from the Holiday Inn, was a mainstay for players, coaches, managers and fans of AAABA Tournament teams.
Felix had an extensive display of AAABA Tournament memorabilia and was known for his stock of penny candy and ice cream cones.
