The New Orleans Boosters (5-1) won the championship game in the 77th AAABA Tournament via a 5-1 victory over Johnstown Paul Carpenter Capital Advisors (4-2) in front of 2,148 fans at Sargent’s Stadium at the Point on Saturday, August 6.
* New Orleans produced co-MVPs Bryan Broussard and pitcher Chris Olivier.
* The Boosters’ Norris McClure took the tournament RBI title with 11 driven in.
* New Orleans broke the AAABA Tournament stolen base record with 35 stolen bases on 42 attempts, a .833 stolen base percentage. The record of 23 stolen bases had been set in 1952 by Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Bryan Broussard, Cade Pregeant and Logan O’Neill each had seven stolen bases during the tournament.
* Columbus TNT Knights’ Noah Sprowls took the AAABA Tournament batting title with a .538 average (7-for-13).
* The Philadelphia Bandits won the AAABA Tournament Sportsmanship Award.
* Johnstown Paul Carpenter Capital Advisors DH Christian Zilli earned The Tribune-Democrat local franchise MVP Award.

Rocko Brezniak and Gianni Marano each had two hits, including a home run apiece in the win. Frankie Sanchez had a double and three RBIs. Maryland State's Samuel Canela had two hits. Wed (8/3) 1 p.m. St. Michael Youngstown New York City 5 - 11 Benjamin Patridge had two hits, including a double and two RBIs, and Sean Liquori had two hits with a double in New York's win. Christian Westcott had two doubles, and Brady Faust, Bryan Broussar and Norris McClure each had a double. Gianni Marano drove in two runs for New Brunswick.
