The 80th AAABA Tournament has plenty to celebrate on the field, but the AAABA Ambassadors have maintained a tradition of excellence not only during tournament week but through the month’s leading up to the first pitch.
Simply put, the AAABA Tournament Ambassadors play a significant role in the success of the event each summer.
The Ambassadors will be present at all fields throughout the week, especially at Sargent’s Stadium at the Point.
Annually, they enter the Point, wearing formal gowns and greeting the large crowd while sitting in convertibles driven by members of the Flood City Corvette Club. In addition to representing the host city and raising funds, Ambassadors greet and interact with baseball fans, sell 50/50 tickets and entertain the crowd with a number of creative dances and performances on the dugout roofs.
