Registration, players’ banquet and pairings drawings set for Sunday

Plenty of action will take place before the first pitch of the 77th AAABA Tournament.
Sunday will include a full slate of official business and activities.
The 16 teams officially will register their rosters on Sunday morning and afternoon at the Holiday Inn in downtown Johnstown.
The schedule includes: Johnstown-1 Paul Carpenter Capital Advisors and Johnstown-2 Martella’s Pharmacy (10 a.m.); New Orleans Boosters and Altoona Cumming Motors (10:30); Maryland State Crabfest and Cleveland B2Bulls (11); Youngstown Creekside Crocodiles and Zanesville Junior Pioneers (11:30); Buffalo Royal Printing and Columbus TNT Knights (1 p.m.); Philadelphia Bandits and New Brunswick Matrix (1:30); New York Rockland Pirates and North Carolina Disco Turkeys(2); and Brooklyn-1 Cougars and Brooklyn-2 Bonnie Rams (2:30).
The players banquet and pairings ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday at 1st Summit Arena @ Cambria County War Memorial.
During the banquet, the official pairings will be made using the nearly eight-decade old bingo cage.
